Since the early days in 1983 with a staff of one, Betty’s vision and determination have helped build TERRA into one of the largest and most respected staffing companies in the Pacific Northwest – six times earning the designation of “Best Company to Work for in Washington” and many other similar honors.

Today, in addition to her role as President, Betty is active in the community and on the political front.  She has served as president of Snohomish County Human Resources Association and was founding member and president of Staffing Association of Washington.  She was named “Industry Leader of the Year” by National Independent Staffing Association and was named a “Small Business Champion” for the Western region of National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

Betty currently serves on the national board of directors for NFIB and is a tireless advocate for small business issues, limited government, and a champion of free enterprise.

Betty and husband Steve are the proud grandparents of three and enjoy watching reruns of “Northern Exposure.” They share their home with their cat Hoofer.
