Community Service Award for Helping People in Need, Projects which Mobilize People into Action, and Recognizing Volunteerism

We are pleased to announce that TERRA recently received another statewide honor. We were named the winner in three categories for the 2006 Association of Washington Business (AWB) Community Service Award for Helping People in Need, Projects which Mobilize People into Action, and Recognizing Volunteerism. The award was given for our Community Service Paid Time Off benefit program.

AWB is the oldest and most influential business organization in the state, and serves as Washington’s chamber of commerce. Of its 5,000 members, 75 percent are businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Together, AWB members employ some 600,000 Washington residents.

Our framed award describes its purpose as “Recognizing outstanding volunteerism and contributions that make our communities better places to live and work.” We are very honored to have received this award.
