As more and more companies are re-opening and returning to work, we want to say thank you.

During this pandemic, we have been keeping people working steadily.  Each day TERRA employees are reporting to work in essential businesses and proving that we can work safely.

Your continued safety and well-being are very important to us.  This information is provided to keep you up-to-date on important information regarding your assignment.

Working Safely

Communication is Important

We are following CDC guidelines for workplace safety and we ask that you notify us immediately if you are feeling unwell.

Specifically, please notify your TERRA representative immediately if you are experiencing any of the following:

  • Fever above 100.4 degrees F
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Also, notify us immediately if you have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patient.

If we become aware of any suspected or confirmed COVID-19 exposure in your assigned workplace, we will notify you immediately.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Some workplaces are requiring additional PPE to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  We will let you know about any special requirements.  If you are required to wear a mask, you will either be provided one or we can help you get a mask.

Let’s All Do Our Part

Working safely starts with protecting yourself and taking steps to protect others.

Specifically:

  • Maintain 6 feet of space between you and your nearest co-worker.
  • Do not share utensils, cups, tools without disinfecting.
  • Do not touch your face without first washing and/or disinfecting your hands even if you are wearing gloves.
  • Cover your cough.
  • Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.
  • Remember, do not come to work if you are sick—please call us first.
