This is an excellent opportunity for a CMM Programmer to join a world-leading innovator of technologies in material science, engineered material, and thermal management for critical applications.

As an established, industry expert in engineered materials and material science, they have become well-known for their design and manufacturing of solutions that improve the safety, efficiency, reliability, and branding of products and components for a variety of industries including medical device, industrial, aerospace and defense. 

Currently, they are seeking a CMM Programmer to join their team. In this role, you will perform inspections on a variety of products and related assembly components using CMM and other standard or special inspection equipment.

 
 CMM Programmer Responsibilities:

  • Inspects products and related assembly components using CMM and other standard or special inspection equipment 
  • Uses standard measuring equipment, visual CMM, and touch probe to measure products during inspection
  • Create CMM programs for new and existing parts
  • Applies concepts of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
  • Uses standard measuring equipment, visual CMM, and touch probe to measure products during inspection.
  • Provides support for New Product Development and Tool Design with respect to programming and fixture design for new parts.
  • Performs Gage Reliability and Repeatability (GR&R) as needed
  • Performs statistical analysis of data in QC Calc software on CMM
  • Develops and maintains part setup, utilizing CMM fixturing for more precise measurements

 CMM Programmer Qualifications:
  • 5 + years CMM programming experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of MS office programs

Location: Portland, OR

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $30 + per hour depending on experience
