About the Role
The Tax Accounting Manager will have an opportunity to work with multiple clients especially in the non profit world, additionally working with construction, real estate, affordable housing and service organizations.
This position reports directly to partners and principals.
Tax Accounting Manager Job Duties
- Files federal, state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.
- Provide input into department’s goal setting process
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Plan, assign and review staff’s work
- Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (changes during tax season)
The role only requires two days in office per week, and only requires 48 billable hours during peak tax season.
Tax Accounting Manager Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Accounting experience
- CPA or working towards it
- One year Management or Supervisor experience.
Pay: $100k based on experience.
This position is bonus eligible based on performance.
