Direct-Hire Accounting Assistant opportunity at an amazing travel company! This well established Vessel Transportation company in Lynnwood is looking for a permanent Accounting Assistant. This Accounting position primarily provides Accounts Payable support and also assisting with Accounts Receivable and General Ledger duties.

Job Duties:

• A/P A/R support (data entry, matching checks, filing)
• Invoice creation and data entry in A/R system for multiple companies
  
• Assist with weekly check run, including matching vendor invoices to checks, obtaining signatures for checks, stuffing envelopes, and mailing payments
  
• Assist with daily banking activities including processing incoming wires and ACH payments, setting up outgoing wires, and transferring funds between accounts as needed
  
• General Ledger activities for subsidiary company including creating and posting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation and distribution of financial statements
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounting experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
• AA/BA Degree or 3 years+ equivalent experience   
• Excellent 10-key skills
• Skilled in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent filing, attention to detail, and organizational skills

This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Location: Lynnwood, WA near the Alderwood Mall

Pay: $28 per hour

Schedule: M-F 8:30 am to 5 pm
