This is an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join a well-established and successful manufacturer of medical devices and equipment used in hospitals and surgery centers around the world.

At this time, they are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join their growing, collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Manufacturing Department.

Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate and direct production-related activities
  • Oversee and manage the Manufacturing Department members including machinists, fabricators, and planners
  • Establish and implement Manufacturing Department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
  • Manage the department's continuous improvement including the development and implementation of lean practices and 5S.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and engineering-related documents
  • Manage the department's production and production-related quality control processes working with the QA Manager
  • Manage all production-related preventative maintenance and calibration schedules and requirements
  • Manage the department's safety programs and policies

Manufacturing Manager Qualifications:

  • 5 + years manufacturing or machine shop experience
  • 2+ years of strong leadership experience
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and communicating blueprint requirements
  • Hands on experience with measurement tools and knowledge of CMM and CADCAM software

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: 95K + depending on experience
