Supplier Quality Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join an established and fast-growing life sciences company that is making significant breakthroughs in antimicrobial therapies that prevent and treat a broad spectrum of infections including those caused by drug-resistant pathogens.
With their innovative technology, they have been successful at addressing infections across many therapeutic areas in healthcare while remaining environmentally safe and providing substantial public health benefits that are making a huge impact on the healthcare industry and patients around the world.
At this time, they are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall supplier management program including supplier selection, supplier audits, and maintaining supplier documents.
Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop, improve and support QMS and regulatory compliance of suppliers quality system
- Document and manage activities with suppliers on all product quality issues
- Manage and document supplier corrective actions (SCAR) for systemic product quality and process issues
- Manage on-site and remote supplier audits
- Develop and implement inspection strategies
- Support development of incoming product strategy, First Article Inspections, and investigation and disposition of nonconforming materials
Supplier Quality Engineer Qualifications:
Quality Assurance experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment
Audit experience - ISO 13485 Lead Auditor or other certifications (Preferred)
Root Cause Analysis experience
Experience with process development, improvement and implementation of Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance of suppliers
Ability to travel for supplier visits
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: 90k - 120k + DOE
