A local well-known distributor and manufacturer of knives is currently hiring for a temp to hire Administrative Assistant for Purchasing Manager
to help the Purchasing Manager with any projects, as well as playing a crucial role with customers to ensure they have a great experience. Administrative Assistant for Purchasing Manager Duties:
- Efficiently pull data/reports when required
- Effectively communicate with appropriate staff regarding purchasing needs at hand
- Critical thinking
- Work with Purchasing Manager to ensure consumable item stock is maintained
- Assist with product returns when necessary
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00 pm
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years administrative or executive assistant experience preferred
- Ability to have postive interactions with customers
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Experience in Oracle-Netsuite preferred (general ERP experience a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional listening skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
