Full-time, Temporary to Hire, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

A local metal recycling company is adding a Warehouse Associate   to their team in Tacoma. This position offers competitive pay, excellent union benefits, stability, and paid training into more skilled roles.

As a Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for identifying different types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, separating material in accordance with requirements for proper disposal, and preparing material for shipping to clients. 

Training and certifications are available on identifying metal types, testing methods, forklift operation, and heavy equipment operation. As a union employee, you will enjoy job stability and comprehensive benefits, with regular raises. 

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of work experience in an industrial or distribution setting
  • Ability to lift, bend, and twist with up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Able to work outdoors for part of the day
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Forklift experience is a big plus

Pay:

  • $18.97 to $22.15/hour DOE

  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
