A local steel manufacturing company in Hillsboro is looking to hire on a Machine Shop Helper This is a long-term position with a goal of hiring you on permanently.

As the Machine Shop Helper you will be working in plate shop assisting machine operators and welders to prepare metal parts for the fabrication of industrial steel fixtures.

As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be:

• Handling metal parts using a forklift - training provided
  
• Cleaning tools and assisting machine operators with daily tasks
• Trained to troubleshoot machinery using hand tools

 Machine Shop Helper Job Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout your shift
• Own a pair of steel toed boots

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-3:30pm, Guaranteed overtime!

Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hr Depending on Experience + OT pay
