Senior Buyer/Planner Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supplier coordination on major projects as part of an overall business plan
• Identify sources, negotiate, and procure raw materials, second operations, and services as required to support production plans
• Negotiate cost reductions and schedule fluctuations with suppliers in support of changing forecast demands, managing and updating all existing purchase orders
• Purchasing, order placement and tracking function for company requirements
• Production planning, and execution of the production plan
• Suggest and implement solutions to material availability and scheduling challenges resulting from unplanned problems such as parts shortages, and or supplier problems

Senior Buyer/Planner Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Planning experience   
• Experience purchasing mechanical components
• ERP/MRP experience

Compensation:

• $90,000 - $130,000+ DOE
• Annual bonus
