This position is with the industry leading CBD manufacturer in Colorado who’s products are distributed nation-wide. They are working on new projects and this role will help with supporting with these as well as provide oversite on manufacturing efficiencies, current production processes and continuous improvement initiatives for the company.

Sr. Industrial Engineer Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Manufacturing productivity and efficiency as it relates to equipment run rates, availability, and up-time. Provides support to Manufacturing and facilities team for to meet production goals.
• Conducts investigations and tests pertaining to the development of new manufacturing methods, materials, or processes, and investigates possible applications of results to enhance productivity.
• Develop proposals and calculate ROI/cost of ownership for new equipment, processes, and process changes. Establishes capital project timelines, budgets, and priorities.
• Oversees the installation, implementation and qualification of new equipment, processes, and process changes.
• Develop and complete qualification documents for new equipment, processes, and process changes and develop and drive CI projects to improve current production processes.
• Lead problem solving and root cause analysis to improve product yield, product cost and manufacturing throughput including the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

Sr. Industrial Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering background (Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing)
• Extensive experience with 3D solid modeling CAD packages (Autodesk, Inventor)
• 3+ years of work experience in operations functions in manufacturing of food, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, or cosmetics
• 3+ years of industrial lean/continuous improvement related project management experience
• Six Sigma Greenbelt certification

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 DOE
