A growing, electronics manufacturing company, with Space X as a customer, is adding a Purchasing Agent to their team! They take pride in making high-quality parts and equipment for industries like Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Transportation. Knowledge of legal aspects, negotiating, purchasing ,cost analysis and government regulations will get you to the top of the candidate pool for this Purchasing Agent position!

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position that comes with opportunities for growth and promotion.

Purchasing Agent Responsibilities

Work with suppliers to develop specific supply lines and related products
Negotiate pricing for products
Follow up on delivery dates and commitments
Identify and source electronic components

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 

Purchasing Agent Requirements:

    Knowledge of internal company structure, and ability to interact with all levels of Management     
    Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines
    Ability to read technical product information, and write correspondence without supervision
    Perform basic mathematical calculations for cost analysis and freight charges

   

 Pay: $20-$23 / hour depending upon experience
