A well-established Aerospace company in Everett is looking for a full time Quality Inspector III to assist their team! They manufacture parts for the interiors of commercial airlines which are in use today! The Quality Inspector position inspects plastic airplane parts, and is an important part of the aerospace manufacturing process!

The QA Inspector oversees the quality of manufactured parts by following a part-specific set of work instructions, defined by Quality Engineering in conjunction with customer drawings and specifications. Quality Inspector III will further inspection knowledge by working directly with QE/AQE, supervisors and leads to a better understanding of the investigation of issues discovered.

Quality Inspector III Pay: $20 - $28/hour

Shifts: Day Shift Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. OT opportunities are available and shifts may be a little flexed.

Quality Inspector III Job Duties

• Inspect parts using hand-held M&TE and visual techniques.
• Use sample parts in comparison to current manufacturing orders.
• Accept/reject parts based on quality plans.
• Process parts physically and electronically using software, and generate NCRs for discrepant parts.
• Perform first article inspections.
• Inspection or purchased goods - Receiving Inspection (QRI)
• Create inspection records to validate QA procedures.

Quality Inspector III Job Requirements:

• Understanding of lot sampling.
• Works well individually or within a team.
• Ability to read aerospace drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Ability to read aerospace drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)?
• Willingness to train other inspectors.
