The industry leader in hardware and related software products for the industrial controls marketplace is looking to add a VP of Global Sales and Business Development to their growing team!

This company designs, engineers, and manufactures highly regulated and technical products for the industrial controls and instrumentation industry. They have a 30-year history of constantly pushing the edge of what is technically possible and innovating to meet the unique needs of their customers. ?

This position needs a business leader responsible for driving revenue growth by successfully maintaining strong relationships with established Partners as well as securing new business through direct customers, channel sales and distribution partners.

VP of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of 7-9 employees including field-based regional managers, inside sales and technical support.
  • Manage and grow a Business Development team that is focused on identifying additional market opportunities.
  • Lead sales team in implementing sales and forecasting methodologies to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Effectively manage a multiple channel Sales program that supports company labeled products as well as brand labeled product strategies.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with established customers/partners across multiple business units. Proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.

You will be successful in this role if you have experience maintaining strong customer relationships as well as growing new business.

Schedule: Flexible day shift hours.

VP of Sales Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of effective sales leadership in business-to-business industrial technology.
  • Industrial automation experience and knowledge of working with Distribution Channels is a plus.
  • Successful experience driving sales through multi-channel sales relationships.
  • Experience implementing and improving sales processes and methodologies.
  • Available for international and domestic travel

Compensation: $250K+, depending on experience
