Currently, they are seeking a Director of Information Security to join their team. In this role, you will lead the Information Security Team and maintain an information security program that supports comprehensive monitoring and compliance verification including the implementation of best practices, risk-based security methods, user awareness programs and other technology and security controls.

Director of Information Security Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide leadership in the execution of the information security and privacy program strategy and governance
• Provide technical leadership of information security projects
• Manage an information security operational program, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information assets
• Lead in the development of risk management strategies to identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to information assets
• Drive the development of, and management of the information security plan that contains safeguards designed to protect information assets
• Manage incidents involving information assets
• Manage day-to-day information security operations such as monitoring and triage of security events, analysis of anomalies, threat hunting, security operation monitoring and tuning of security systems and tools
• Manage and oversee the process of gathering, analyzing and assessing the current and future threat landscape, as well as providing a realistic overview of risks and threats in the enterprise environment
• Develop, implement and enforce information security requirements and solutions in collaboration with the CIO
• Lead in the development, adoption and enforcement of information security policies, procedures and standards

Director of Information Security Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, similar degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7 + years of experience in IT roles, including information security or related field
• Project management experience leading IT projects
• Working knowledge and experience with Azure and AWS
• Working knowledge of information security practices and concepts including access controls and identity management, risk management, and security frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST 800
• Experienced in security incident response, planning and resolution
• Knowledge to oversee the performance of on-going security monitoring for the organization's information systems
• Demonstrated collaborative, management, leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships
