A rapidly growing nationwide storm water maintenance and hydro-excavation company is looking for a Payroll Specialist. If you are experienced in prevailing wage and construction payroll this is the opportunity for you! This is a hybrid position in Puyallup, WA. 

Pay: $32 -$34

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible 8 hour day)

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Weekly payroll reporting, monthly union reporting, and other payroll-related tasks

• Ensure compliance within the payroll department

• Collaborate effectively while also being able to work independently

Payroll Specialist Qualifications:

• Proficient in certified payroll policies and processes

• Excel proficiency for certified payroll spreadsheet maintenance

• Understanding of Davis Bacon acts and prevailing wage

• Appreciation for "BOLI" knowledge

• Strong experience with WA State L&I website, LCP Tracker website, and CDS systems

• Familiarity with Emars and elations is preferred

• Note: Manual data entry into portals, not a straightforward upload process

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective time management, and organizational skills

• Bonus: Knowledge of Oregon prevailing wage

• Minimum 2 years of Union and Prevailing wage experience

• Expertise in Construction Payroll and Compliance across multiple states

• Experience with Union Wage reporting and LCP Tracker

• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail

• Quick learner with a can-do attitude

• Motivated to efficiently manage payroll responsibilities

• Requires high-speed internet and a quiet workspace
