Full-time, Temporary to Hire, Monday through Friday 7am-4pm
A local freight forwarding and logistics company is looking to add an AP/AR associate to their busy office. This company works as a distribution warehouse for some of the world's largest companies. They specialize in storing additional merchandise and shipping inventory domestically and internationally.
In this full time, temp-to-hire position, you will help support with administrative duties, accounts receivable and payable, basic bookkeeping, draw up quotes and process end of the month invoicing. Because this company is always so busy, the ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
AP/AR Job Duties Include:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Writing freight quotes
- Basic bookkeeping
- End of the month invoicing
- Administrative duties
- 2-year previous accounting experience including AP/AR
- 1-year basic bookkeeping or general ledger experience
- Strong phone skills
- Experience in freight handling and logistics a plus!
