TERRA Helped Me Develop My Skills and Launch My Career – Now I Am in a Role I Love

Savanah Shore graduated from high school in 2014. She spent some time at Western Washington University before deciding that she wanted to join the workforce.

Knowing that staffing agencies are well-connected to great employment opportunities, she decided that her first step would be to reach out to one. A family referral led her to TERRA.

She met with Everett Branch Manager, Patty Stoddard. Patty was immediately impressed with Savanah’s eagerness to work and her willingness to take on any opportunity. Because she was also comfortable commuting, the Kirkland office was able to partner with the Everett office to help Savanah find the right fit.

Thanks to her flexibility, the Everett and Kirkland teams were able to place Savanah on a variety of contract assignments, which helped develop Savanah’s skills and experience. Not only did Savanah’s temp assignments go well, they were often extended because the clients wanted to keep her on board a while longer. She even worked for both TERRA’s Everett and Kirkland offices as a temporary Office Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator!

Yevon Yoo, Kirkland Recruiter, was able to help find Savanah a temp-to-hire role as a sales assistant with a smaller start-up company. And the client loved her so much that they hired her on as a full-time regular employee!
