Thank You TERRA – You Found Me the Perfect Job

Todd Carmody is a worker in every sense of the word. After nine years in the construction industry, he’s done almost every job you can think of in the field. He even owned his own shop for eight years, where he did motorcycle repairs. Todd doesn’t just get his hands dirty, but he’s also knowledgeable about his craft – a great mix.
Originally from Colorado, Todd moved to Arizona with an eagerness to work right away, but first he needed options.
So he did what most people do in that situation – he searched for jobs on the internet.
A quick search for welding jobs in the Phoenix area struck gold. He came across a welding opening through TERRA and applied.
Mary Taporco, Recruiting Coordinator in TERRA’s Mesa office, called Todd and brought him in for an interview. She came away a great first impression. She shared, “He’s personable and professional, but it’s his knowledge and skills that set him apart.”

After just one day on the job, the company reached out to Mary to ask if TERRA could keep sending Todd. He had made yet another strong first impression!
It’s been two months and Todd is not only still there, he was brought on as a full-time, regular employee a few weeks ago!
He loves his job and has made it clear that he has no interest in hearing about other jobs. He’s found his home.
