85% of all employees experience interpersonal conflict; 29% do so “frequently” or “always.” Managers, on average, spend 30% of their time dealing with conflict. And yet, this ever-present dynamic in the workplace continues to drain energy from the team and sabotage our efforts toward achieving our highest ends. This occurs, in part, because conflict is one of the subjects people tend to avoid. Simply not talking about it will leave our teams as sitting ducks, subject to its destructive influence. In this webinar, Andy Johnson, a Team Health Specialist with Price Associates will explain the nature of conflict, the forces that drive it, and most importantly how to build teams that have conflict prevention skills integrated directly into their culture.
In this webinar, attendees will learn:
- The importance of conflict-related skills in the workplace
- A readily-applicable model of conflict development
- Practical methods of conflict prevention
- Conflict analysis methods useful for resolving existing conflicts
