Branch Manager, Aurora
Carly had a successful and extensive background in retail before deciding it was time for a change.
Though she was good at what she was doing, she felt dissatisfied and, honestly, a little bored. Ideally, she was looking for something different, something challenging, that would allow her to utilize and leverage the skills she had worked so hard to gain in her career.
She joined TERRA as a Recruiter in the Phoenix branch in July 2018. She quickly established herself to be a top-performer and was promoted the following year to Staffing Manager.
Carly once again proved herself to be a strong contributor to the Phoenix branch and, in 2020, was promoted to Branch Manager of TERRA’s Aurora location, where she is now helping to grow the Colorado market.

When Carly is not in the office, she is working out, running, or exploring the outdoors. For her, the days she is able to get outside (with her dog, Stella) are the best days!
Fun fact: She has hiked 3 14ers since moving to Colorado — with a goal to do at least one new one every summer!

Tell me about your first job?
I was a Sales Associate for Aeropostale. This job taught me customer service skills, as well as people skills.
What other professions would you like to try?
I really enjoy motivating others and helping them see what they are capable of. I also enjoy feeling like my work matters. If I weren’t in staffing, and if money didn’t matter, I think I would enjoy being some type of mentor or counselor. Especially for young girls and women.
If you could possess any super power, what would it be?
Teleporting! I could be anywhere I wanted in seconds!
What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?
I love being able to have a direct impact on a business or candidate’s success. It’s very rewarding when I connect with a client or an employee and they let me know how much I’ve helped them.
Best career advice you’ve ever received?
Work hard and stay humble – and you can accomplish anything you want to!
