Emily Mintun

Before joining TERRA, Emily spent 10 years working in the hospitality industry and developed a passion for sales.
While she loved the sales aspect, she felt underappreciated in her role. There wasn’t a lot of room for growth or mentorship.
At the prospect of working on a team with leadership development, Emily officially joined TERRA in October 2021 as a Recruiter for the Broomfield team. She has been on the fast-track to success ever since, growing very quickly in her role and earning a promotion to Staffing Manager in February 2022.
Three short months later, Emily was promoted again to Broomfield Branch Manager, where she is now growing the team and consistently celebrating wins.
More About Emily
What might surprise you about Emily is her past-life as a full-time professional dancer and manager for a Caribbean cruise line! She led the production cast, traveled the world and even danced for Disney and Universal Studios.
While she no longer dances professionally full-time, she still dances and teaches dance class every week. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, and hiking the beautiful Colorado mountains.
Tell us about your first job.
I worked at a local bagel shop called the Bagel Bakery in my hometown of Gainesville, Florida.
What other professions would you like to try?
Digital Media Marketing. This one isn’t a profession, but I’ve always dreamt of being on the show Survivor or The Amazing Race.
If you could possess any super power, what would it be?
Flying!
What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?
The ability to truly make a difference in people’s lives. Both for candidates and for clients!
Best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t let anything hold you back. You can achieve whatever you want to achieve if you put your mind to it. Hard work and perseverance will pay off, just continually put your best foot forward one day at a time.
