Kira Gerrick
Branch Manager, Goodyear
Kira had over 15 years of retail experience before joining TERRA as Branch Manager of our Goodyear branch in 2021.
In addition to her successful retail career, Kira is also mom to two boys. You’ll often find them having nerf wars and playing video games together.
When she’s not working, you can find her enjoying Arizona’s year-round beautiful weather, and exploring the area on straight roads that make it impossible to get lost!

Tell me about your first job?
My first job was working as a Sales Associate for Millers Outpost. I would fold jeans, help customer, and fold more jeans. I found my love of customer service there!
What other professions would you like to try?
I just changed careers and came to Terra and I couldn’t be happier! When I was younger, I really wanted to be a police officer. I actually was about to join the police academy when I was offered my first Store Manager position. However, now that I have children, I am so glad I did not continue that path. They’ve made me realize I am not nearly as tough as I thought I was!
If you could possess any super power, what would it be?
I feel like every time I get asked this question, I have a different answer. Currently – I wish I could control time!
What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?
I love that you always stay busy and learn something new every single day. I also love the positive impact you can have on people – internal and external!
Best career advice you’ve ever received?
A leader of mine once told me “Growth is painful, it’s a good thing”. That has stuck with me and I remind myself and my team of that often!
