Megan Herrell

Branch Manager, Beaverton

Megan came to TERRA in 2016 with an extensive retail management background.

She began as a recruiter and quickly established herself as a top-performer, earning the respect of clients, talent, and peers alike.

She was promoted to Staffing Manager and in 2018 was made Beaverton Branch Manager.

When she is not at work, Megan loves to travel, try new restaurants and participate in fun, outdoor activities with her two dogs, Hazel and Khaleesi.

 

Tell me about your first job?

My first job was working as a cashier/sales associate at Kohl’s. I worked there for 3 years and gained so much experience. I even unloaded their trucks 1-2 times per week!

What other professions would you like to try?

I love helping people. I think every person has a story to tell and it contributes to who they are today. If I weren’t in staffing, I think would love to work as a therapist.

If you could possess any super power, what would it be?

Reading minds! I would never have to wonder what others are thinking ever again.

What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?

I love having a direct impact on people’s lives. There is nothing more exciting than getting a phone call from an employee you helped place telling you that they love their job – thanks to you! It’s a very rewarding and fulfilling career.

Best career advice you’ve ever received?

Step outside of your comfort zone! You never know what you are capable of until you try it. It’s when you start to get butterflies in your stomach that you know you’re learning and growing. Take a chance. You most likely won’t regret it!
