TERRA Found Me a Job That Fulfills My Passion

Keegan Jackson has a passion for printing.

For over two and a half years, he worked as a print service supervisor for a large commercial printing company.

Keegan loved what he was doing, but he felt stressed. The company was understaffed and Keegan was overworked.

He decided to put his resume online. Not looking, but hoping a job was available in his industry.

At the same time, Beaverton Recruiter Haley Rott was doing an online search for a digital bindery cutter. She came across Keegan’s resume and thought he might be a good fit.

Eager to meet with him, she reached out and scheduled an interview for the following day.

“Keegan was incredibly well-spoken, professional and passionate about the printing industry. He was hoping to find a position that would allow him to grow in his field. He was very positive, possessing a genuine desire to do his best,” Haley said.

After the interview, Haley was convinced that his experience, great attitude and passion made him the ideal candidate for this role.

She offered him the job and Keegan happily accepted!

“I was excited about the opportunity to learn more about printing on a larger, industrial scale and the advancement potential the role would provide,” he said.

He’s been in the role for over four months and he couldn’t be more grateful. He still looks forward to seeing what each new day brings.

“It’s cool to see my finished products in the real world. The work I do is satisfying – it shows my efforts contribute to something.”

We asked Keegan what advice he had for those looking for new employment.

“There will be a lot of missed opportunities if you don’t take a chance. Keep at it. Be persistent. Continue to try and eventually things will go right!”
