Success Story-Em Amatya

There are a lot of reasons people choose to work with a staffing service. For Em Amatya, working on temporary assignments gives him flexibility. Em is from Nepal and is planning a visit back to his home country this summer. Working on temporary assignments allows him to continue to earn income and gain valuable experience as he prepares for his trip.

Em came to TERRA with a lot of enthusiasm, good references and a strong work history. Very quickly we were able to put him to work with a local retailer who needed extra customer service staff during a busy period. He worked in one store during their peak season. We received rave reviews about his work from the client supervisor.

When one door closes another opens and immediately after his assignment ending at one store, a position came open in another store. Because of the great work he did at the first store, they were delighted to have him work in another location. He’s working there currently and, as you can probably guess, getting great reviews.

One of the keys to Em’s success story is that he checks in with his local TERRA office regularly to let them know that he is available for work. According to Tia, “We never have to wonder if Em is available for work. He communicates with us regularly and expresses a real eagerness to work. That makes it especially easy for us to feel comfortable assigning him to our clients.”
