TERRA Found Me the Perfect Fit – They Invested in My Success

Christino Kaneko moved to Washington state in the summer of 2013, and for one month he searched fruitlessly for a job. He turned to TERRA for help and met with Amber Low, Everett Staffing Manager.

Meanwhile, Everett Recruiter Patty Stoddard was on the search for a driver versed in customer service, warehouse and delivery to work for farm equipment distributor.

When Amber heard about the job Patty was working on, she recommended Patty reach out to Christino.

Patty did just that and one week later Christino started his new job!

It didn’t take long for both Christino and the client to agree that it was indeed the right fit.

Unfortunately, the company was on a hiring freeze and they could only have him there in a temporary capacity. Their intention, however, was to keep him – forever. “He is the most perfect fit,” the hiring manager told Patty. Once they could hire him, they would.

They kept Christino on as a TERRA employee for 358 days. But we are so excited to share that he was converted to full-time, regular employment!

And the timing couldn’t be better. Just a few months ago, Christino welcomed his third child into the world!

We asked Christino to share a few words on his experience working with TERRA.

How did you hear about TERRA?

A friend referred me to TERRA Staffing Group with a positive review of the agency. I interviewed with TERRA Staffing Group and within days I was offered, and accepted, a job that was the right fit.

How did your experience with TERRA compare to what you expected from or experienced with other staffing firms?

The only other experience I had was with another staffing firm in the same building as this TERRA Staffing Group office. There is no competition – TERRA is a level above its competitors!

Is there anyone specifically at TERRA you would like to thank?

I would like to thank Patty Stoddard. She made sure I was thoroughly prepared for the job and always had an open and prompt line of communication. The success is as much hers as it is mine.
