TERRA Listened to My Needs and Helped Me Find a Job That’s Perfect for Me

Have you ever had a job that you worked for the sake of working? A job that you felt no connection to whatsoever?

Pamela Wells did.

But regardless of whether she loved her job or not, she always gave 100%.

When she found herself needing a new job she turned to TERRA’s Everett office for help with her job search.

Patty Stoddard, Everett Branch Manager, had a client that she thought would be a great fit for both Pam’s personality and warehouse skills, but unfortunately there were no openings at the time.

But Pam was super flexible. And while she would have preferred full-time, regular employment, she was open to doing short-term, temporary roles while the Everett team found something that was a better fit for her skills. And true to Pam, she always gave each job everything she had.

Supervisors loved her. One said, “She has a great attitude and great communication skills. She’s always on time and easy to work with.”

Not long after, Everett Staffing Manager, Katie Jones, found Pam a full-time role. Pam was thrilled at first, but eventually came to the realization that the job was not right for her.

The Everett team was there to help her again. And this time, the client that Patty had initially wanted Pam to work for had a job opening – and she set her up for an interview as fast as she could.

TERRA, Pam realized, was different from other staffing firms. “TERRA actually listened to what kind of job I was looking for. I have never experienced that with a staffing company before.”

In the 10 months since she started there, Pam’s gone from order puller to a shipping role to fulfillment supervisor.

The client shared, “Pam’s positive attitude is what most amazes me. She just manages to lift the spirits of everyone around her and keeps them going for the day. She even came up with a quote of the week to share with all the employees!”

So it should come as no surprise that Pam was hired on as a full-time, regular employee!

She shared, “I really appreciate the opportunity that you all gave me. Thank you, Katie, Santana and Patty for all your help. I am where I am today because of you. There really aren’t enough words I can say to show how grateful I am.”

The Everett team is incredibly proud of Pam. Santana Grayson, Staffing Specialist, shared, “I remember when Pam walked in for her interview and it’s been just SO incredible watching her grow. I get to see her every week when I visit our client and she always puts a smile on my face.”
