Back in November, we mentioned that our Tacoma and Tukwila offices were going to be collecting donations for the Toy Rescue Mission in Pierce County.

They not only collected donations, members of both offices recently volunteered their time to the organization as well.

And we are excited to announce that during the two days that our Tacoma and Tukwila teams were there, they were able to help over 250 families. That’s over 800 children!

Our teams weren’t the only ones being charitable either. The owner of the local Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on 6th Ave, nearest the Toy Rescue Mission, wanted to give back to the community as well and generously catered lunch for volunteers on one of the days our teams were there – and has done so again since then.

We love seeing people serve their communities and are extremely proud of our Tacoma and Tukwila offices for putting TERRA’s values into practice.

The Toy Rescue Mission is entirely volunteer-run and they collect donations year-round. If you are interested in learning more about the Toy Rescue Mission or would like to see a list of items they are currently in need of, feel free to visit their website directly.
