Thanks TERRA – My New Job Is Exactly What I Was Looking For

After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, Jessica Stehr began searching for a job that was right for her.

She worked for a security company for a bit, but didn’t love it. She also worked for an insurance company. But that was not a good fit either.

Jessica was looking for an opportunity that would suit her desire to be active.

“I wanted to be outside. Not sitting behind a desk, “she remarked.

So she continued her job search.

Now, it just so happened that Crystal Burnett, Beaverton Staffing Specialist, was also doing a search of her own. For a client in need of someone with an active, hands-on personality for a field surveying and analysis role.

And her research led her to Jessica.

Jessica was not sure what to expect from TERRA, having never worked with a staffing firm before. But it was an opportunity for her to try something different, so she decided to go for it.

Jessica went to TERRA’s Beaverton office and met with Crystal. Crystal was impressed with Jessica’s communication style and thought that her personality made her a great fit for the role.

She arranged an interview between Jessica and the client. Not only did Jessica feel very comfortable during the interview, she was offered the job during the meeting – and started the next day!

Her new job is everything she was looking for, and her new employer is very pleased with her.

“Jessica completes her tasks on time, has great attendance and excellent communication. When Jessica was trained, she was able to be on her own in one week, versus what takes normally two weeks,” the client shared.

Jessica was thankful that Crystal reached out to her with the job opportunity.
