Ann Medalia

Ann came to TERRA with more than a decade of staffing industry experience leading a multi-office business unit. Since joining TERRA in October 2010, she has been instrumental in market development, leadership development and leading expansion efforts.
A native of New York, Ann’s husband, Mike, is a Northwest guy who brought her to this corner of the country. She loves quilting, disc golf, kickboxing, and all sorts of outdoor activities. In her free time, Ann supports Mike in his fishing guide business and spends all of her non-work time with her three daughters, Rachael, Kelsey and Natalie.

Tell me about your first job?
First job was working at the Horse stables (Huntington Meadows) where I rode. Valuable lesson: I worked hard (literally HARD labor type work) to earn more horse riding time, more lessons, and participate in more shows (because I got discounts for being an employee). It was a privilege to ride and very expensive.

What other professions would you like to try?
I did always want to go into the health field. In school, I originally wanted to be a nurse. I know that may sound weird.

If you could possess any super power, what would it be?
Ok come on now- I think it would be flying.

What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?
I love the diversity of what we do, learning about how things are made, and the fast pace. I thrive when it’s super busy and you don’t even have time to go to the bathroom.

Believe in yourself. Know that you can do it and have confidence.
