Get to know me

Tell us about your first job.

My first job was at the Sticker Store kiosk at the mall when I was 15. (This was a real fad then!)

What other professions would you like to try?

I always wanted to be a lawyer when I was growing up.

If you could possess any super power, what would it be?

Flying! I could get to my sunny beach quicker than going through TSA.

What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?

I would say helping people. It is really touching to see how we helped a candidate get their dream job or start their career. That's exciting to me.

Best career advice you've ever received?

"Titles are nice, but don't think anyone is above completing the duties of the lowest man on the pole." This was proven to me over and over, as I watched business owners, CEOs, and VPs roll up their sleeves and help out during times when they were short-staffed, or production volume requirements were high. They would walk around and pick up up trash, or sweep or clean bathrooms -- really doing whatever they could to help.
