Get to know me

Tell me about your first job?

I worked for my dad’s small business during summers when I wasn’t in school. I managed his company’s website, did data entry and a variety of other things. It taught me responsibility right out of the gate and allowed me to try different roles within a business setting.

What other professions would you like to try?

I’ve always had a fascination with paint names. When choosing a color, I typically narrow it down to 2-3 color options and then pick the one with the best name. I don’t even know if this is a true profession, but Professional Paint Namer would be high on the list!

If you could possess any super power, what would it be?

The power to fly. I wouldn’t be obvious about it though. I would use my powers mostly just to avoid traffic and to get places faster. I believe that a lot of days could be more productive if you could get from point A to point B more efficiently.

What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?

It is truly rewarding to find the right match for both the candidate and the client. When both are gushing about their first day and how much of a perfect fit it is, that’s what it’s all about! I also firmly believe in people working to find their true career and I love that we can help with that journey.

Best career advice you've ever received?

Take a moment to stop and listen. You can learn so much from those around you: your manager, your team, and even your customer/client. Hearing out a different perspective is the best way to learn and grow so you can take on new challenges.
