Sheliya began her career at TERRA as a recruiter and quickly established herself as a top performer who is able to win raving fans from both clients and talent alike.  Well-respected by her peers for her endless energy, infectious enthusiasm and ability to deliver, Sheliya was a natural choice to lead our Beaverton team.

Under Sheliya’s leadership, the Beaverton branch flourished, crushing goal after goal. In 2018, she was promoted to Area Manager, overseeing the Portland-Metro market.

Now, she is the Regional Vice President for the Oregon and Colorado Market.

Sheliya and her husband, Gareth, make their home in the Beaverton-area.  In her “spare time” she is finishing up her degree with double major in Human Resources and Management & Leadership from Portland State University.

Get to know me

Tell me about your first job?

My first job was working as a busser at a golf & country club in Salinas, CA. From there I worked many serving and bartending jobs before finding TERRA.

What other professions would you like to try?

Forensic Crime Scene Investigator. I love a good mystery!

If you could possess any super power, what would it be?

Incredible strength - as in Incredible Hulk strength!

What do you enjoy most about working in the staffing industry?

I love all the people I get to meet and talk to on a daily basis. All of my clients and candidates make my job great!

Best career advice you've ever received?

The best career advice I got came from simply watching my mother work. She worked nights as a waitress while attending college full-time and raising my brother and me. Just by watching her I learned I can accomplish anything if I work hard enough.
