When Donne Pretorius found herself looking for work, she quickly turned to the Internet.
“After searching online for positions through all those websites, I found more scams than anything else… and found that companies prefer working through staffing agencies,” Donne shared.
So she began reaching out to staffing firms.
One of the several agencies she decided to contact was TERRA.
She met with Beaverton Recruiter, Mandy Mueller, and many things stood out to her about Donne. Mandy shared, “Donne presented herself very well. Not only was she a great communicator, she was extremely professional and very accomplished.”
Donne’s previous dispatch experience, managing 28 technicians and juggling a constantly changing schedule, made her a great candidate for a temporary dispatcher/scheduler role that Mandy was working on. Plus, she had great communication skills and excellent customer service experience.
Mandy immediately presented her to the client and after meeting and interviewing Donne, the client agreed that she had a great skill set and brought her on board.
It’s been four months since she stepped into the temporary role and the client thinks that Donne is a great fit for their organization.
The client said, “Donne is doing a great job and just ‘gets it’ – something that is hard to come by in a scheduler/dispatcher role.”
And we are excited to share that she is currently transitioning into full-time regular employment!
