Every Job is an Opportunity to Find the Right Fit

Kathryn Roper had experience working in management, hospitality and finance.

And while she’d gained multiple skills, she was frustrated by the lack of room for growth and advancement.

It was time for a change in atmosphere, so she decided to move from Pennsylvania to Washington.

Kathryn was open to diverse opportunities and thought a staffing firm would be able to help provide her with options. She reached out to TERRA for help with her job search.

Kathryn now oversees the distribution of large volumes of incoming mail and coordinates the shipment of outgoing orders to customers all over the United States.

“I love the pace. Getting things done within a certain time frame… the focus,” she said.

She said, “It’s a good thing to be well-rounded. To be open-minded. No job is too small. I see every job as a learning experience. And if you’re working with a staffing agency, it’s important to be patient and maintain communication.”
