TERRA Helped Me Land a Job with Growth Potential – I’m Now in a Lead Role!

When Jesse Trujillo first kicked off his professional career, he was just looking to learn some skills – and make some money.

He wound up in food service, and his natural leadership ability helped him succeed in the industry.

But Jesse wasn’t happy and wanted something more. He decided it was time to search for new opportunities elsewhere.

Someone recommended that he give TERRA a call.

Having no previous experience working with a staffing firm, he was a little nervous. “I had no idea what to expect going in,” he shared.

He went to TERRA’s Everett office and met with Sarah Buelow, Recruiting Coordinator.

Jesse impressed Sarah with his professionalism. She was also impressed with his ability to show growth in a role, working with his former employer for three years and ending in an assistant manager position. His proven leadership, she thought, was a valuable skill.

She wasted no time in telling Santana Grayson, Staffing Specialist, about Jesse. She knew that Santana was recruiting warehouse support for a client who loves to promote from within.

Santana said, “Sarah came running out after meeting him because she thought he’d be the perfect fit…and she was right!”

The client loved Jesse. His supervisor shared, “He always exceeds expectations, whether it is in attendance, performance or attitude. Jesse is a quick learner and always makes sure each task is completed before leaving, helping set the next shift up for success.”

It’s no surprise that they decided to hire Jesse on as a full-time, regular employee!

We’d also like to mention that since being hired, Jesse has also been promoted! He is now Warehouse Assembly Lead!
